Is Titanic Escape Simulator Multiplayer or Co-op?

Steam’s category list for a game is not editorial — it is generated from what the developer declares. For Titanic Escape Simulator, that list is three entries long:

• Family Sharing

There is no Online Co-op, no Shared/Split Screen, no PvP, no Cross-Platform Multiplayer. None of the six announcements magicprostudio has published mentions playing with anyone else, and the premise — you are a private investigator working a suspicious death aboard the ship — is built around one character’s decisions.

What people are really asking

The multiplayer question arrives in a few shapes, and they have different answers.

“Can I play with a friend?” Not in the same session. Family Sharing does let you share the game with a household member’s Steam account, but that is one person playing at a time, not two playing together.

“Is there co-op in the sinking part?” No. The final act is the same single-player experience with water in it.

“Will multiplayer be added?” Nothing has been announced. The developer’s post-release communication so far consists of one patch, 1.0.1, which was bug fixes and accessibility improvements. Adding multiplayer to a narrative game built around individual moral choices would be a rebuild, not an update.

“Is the PS5 version multiplayer?” There is no PS5 version. That question usually traces back to a different game — see platform availability.

The one thing that is shared

The endings. Three of them, each tied to an achievement, each reached by a decision you make alone in the final moments — but the global unlock rates let you see what everyone else chose.
